It's sad that no one ever talks about this song. It's so good. Lou Reed's vocals compliment the instrumentals perfectly. 2-D's verses fit in so good too. Sad that Lou Reed is no longer with us anymore.

The live concert in Atlanta tonight was my first concert. And the entire time before the concert i was hoping they would play my favorite song. The thing that most touches me in this music is the scream of the little girl. It's the scream of a little girl having so much fun in the playground of her school that she can't help but let it out. This is beauty, and the most accurate and powerful reminder of chikdhood I ever experienced.

It is good to hear Lou Reed.

This is the absolute best Gorillaz song they ever created. Not even going to lie, it got me through a lot of rough times. The audio is perfect, the backing vocals make the whole song. Lou Reed is a legend, and his leading vocals make the song one of the most unique audio experiences. The instrumental, man... it envokes an emotion I cannot even describe. 10/10, absolute god-tier content.

I’ve always listened to Lou’s lyrics (which reads much more like “dialogue”, which has always endeared me to this song) as though he’s an Android, given the skipping that takes place on “until we grow old”. An Android singing changes the vibe of the song, definitely more melancholic.

(idk if they are ending on Humanz, but if they are i would be very sad, and i would never stop listening to them.)
