I will never get over 2D's angelic voice. It's so different from any other artist. It's one of the reasons I've loved this band since I was a child. It always adds an ethereal aspect to their music. Love this song!

2D's voice + piano is an angelic combination. Much better than his recorder-playing skills in Rock the house. I got a mild headache from that but he's so cute that it was worth it

The newest songs have an almost mature melancholy feel to them. These songs feel like going for a drive through a city alone in the middle of the night to clear your head, crying and listening to music. It's amazing that the Gorillaz can almost create an entire mind set with each album. Bravo, a mature sound for a talented mature band.

The only thing I hate about this song is how much it shows Adeleye´s voice more than in the original and how it shines in contrast to Damon´s Voice. Adeleye has such a nice voice and I feel like it bounces really well with Damon´s here. Man, I would´ve loved to hear Adeleye´s voice more on the original song

Okay so I love to sing Gorillaz songs and I just saw this piano version of Silent Running and I was like "Oh yeah, I'm going to open the comment with the lyrics" and when the second verse starts with "Stop, or you'll make me cry" I made a mistake and said "Stop, cause you make cry" instead but at the same time I realized Damon did the same mistake and I just felt that special connection even tho we don't know each other, (of course) but the fact that we both like...feel the lyrics and then words took over other ones in the same way makes me feel not so lonely. Maybe the personal meaning of this song pushed Damon to say "you make me cry" and I just got the same energy out of the lyrics. I love Gorillaz and always will, displaying your feelings in your lyrics is probably the best way of connecting with people.

It's just so beautiful, it really is. I know literally everybody is saying this right now, and it's just too true that 2D's voice if just so beautiful. It's special when you find a song or a singer that just makes you feel so much that you cry and smile at the same time. Love you so much 2D! Really do.
