And people thought that he was using 2D as a human shield but if they look carefully, he wasn’t grabbing or pulling on him like how people normally would if using someone as a human shield, he was placing his hand on his shoulder and was pushing him outward. And in the next frame, he’s in front of 2D and the rest of the band mates and 2D is completely unharmed. So yeah, he was protecting all of them even 2D.

Jamie confirmed that it has morphed into something bigger. EDIT; Also, Jamie’s son, Delhom Hewlett, will be releasing a Gorillaz documentary sometime later! But who knows when. ANOTHER EDIT; Gorillaz might be working on a new ALBUM! So far we have seen that Gorillaz are collaborating with GuiltyBeatz , Moonchild Sanelly and Flume. The post said that we could be expecting a new album in 6 months, but they are not entirely sure. Go see for yourselves. If anyone is curious, check out @everythingorillaz on Instagram. Their news and stuff are 100% trustworthy especially when they are close friends with Jamie Hewlett.

I agree but I also think it is a sound thing to do, partnering up with a corporation: at the end of the day Gorillaz music is still unique and defies this hollowing out, and at least gorillaz got to choose wich company they're partnering up with. Also, this partnership is the sole reason they are out there still making music with a roof over their heads. But still, good point.

So, let me get this straight.... Murdoc in phase 4 said on an interview with Mistajam that someone has sold the Geep on Ebay to a man in Germany. 2D on the other hand, while Murdoc said that, he silently hints himself that he sold the geep without telling Murdoc. Now on this video, the geep makes an appearance once again with the band as if nothing happened... I don't know how this fictional universe work...

He escaped jail, but it was all because of a ticket fine he didn't pay. He lied with some story about El Mierda, he's real but he retired from being a dangerous guy like Murdoc mentioned and has a spa that Noodle found. To make things worse, he escaped the day he was supposed to be let free, tied on a yak called Madonna, frozen where Noodle found him.
