Delexium GD The story is that they flew out to record the video with some armed men to protect them, but the armed guys took the transportation and left them stranded. Murdoc took the Red Cross truck to get out of the heat but he was attacked by soldiers and hotwired it to get away.

Fact: the children are survivors from a helicopter crash that happened in a desert in Namibia, South Africa. 2D is playing them music while the rescuers are on their way, hence the flaregun shot at the beginning.

The song is referring to the Iraq/Afghanistan War, and this is absolutely an anti-war song. It's talking about American soldiers being deployed and developing PTSD from what they've been instructed to do. "The war is over" refers to President Bush declaring the war over, when really it continued for years. "I need a gun" refers to the fear-mongering in America during the war that they were in danger and that the war was to protect them. "All I want to do is dance" is the desire to live outside of that fear. The children are referring to kids that grew up watching the war unfold, being fed propaganda and growing up afraid.
