Well... He hasn't done anything I would consider Heavy Metal. Beyond that, they've got pretty much every modern musical style covered with one song or another. I wonder how it would sound with Gorillaz doing Jazz or Swing style music. EDIT: Punk was pointed out as an early thing, and the newest album has a country song, so I guess it's just metal left. Get on it Murdoch.

Something I’ve noticed about the Gorillaz fanbase is that everyone just seems so chilled and happy, I’ve never seen any comments having a go at another for not knowing something about the story line. Everyone just enjoys the music, I’m glad I got into this amazing band.

I’m really glad I found the Gorillaz. I was in middle school and heard feel good inc and wanted to check them out so I bought demon days. I didn’t realize they did Clint Eastwood and that made me like them more. The fall is one of my personal favorites, demon days is classic, plastic beach is great, and I love humanz. Now they make music like this and humility and it really grants me this sense of joy realizing a band that I’ve loved for so long has continued to make music that dare I say is even better than their older stuff. That’s all matter of opinion of course, I still love their older stuff but it is extremely refreshing to see music like this in times like these. It grants hope. I’m glad to be a part of this with you all, the music will bring us all together.

I feel like this new drawing style is based off the original Akira mangas from the 80's. The round shaped heads and extremely spiky/detailed hair as well as the use of extremely jagged or extremely smooth lines (with not much in-betweens).
