In my eyes, Gorillaz has always an experimental band. They really do transcend genre. For anyone to expect one solid sound from this group is foolish.

I know that Humanz gets a lot of shade, but it was my first ever Gorillaz album. And this was probably my first ever Gorillaz song I ever listened to FOR REAL. I have not been listening to Gorillaz for very long, but I feel as if I have already developed a deep emotional connection with Damon Albarn's music. I used to listen to this in the car all the time when I was younger, and at the time I wasn't too familiar with Gorillaz. Now I know almost every single song on their discography. Thank you Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett for bringing life into Gorillaz! P.S: Humanz isn't THAT bad.

I never fail to return to this song each time. It's always been one of my favourites from Gorillaz with something so genuine about it all. I don't know why but it's been terribly comforting for me ever since my aunt passed away last month. She was amazing, kind, the person that accepted me and tried to understand the things that I liked even if she didn't quite understand the concepts of it. She was the light of so many of my dark days. I miss her so much already.
