This song really hits home for me. My Dad passed away last year and the last time I had talked to him I introduced him to Gorillaz and he loved their songs. I heard this song for the first time at the Gorillaz concert in Dallas and cried when I heard the words, “Don’t be sad for me.” “And my intent is to breathe in a new world.” In a way it feels like a farewell from my Dad.

Gorillaz has narrated my life since I was a child and continues to do so til this very moment ❤️‍🔥

The beginning of this songs is so relaxing

I can already see this as a classic. There is a moment that is perfect to create memories of someone that's no longer in this world. Starts at 3:02. I can only think of a person "don't be sad for me" and then a bunch of memories from them coming one after another 😭💙💙

As I got a third of the way through the song, I thought to myself: "This is nice, but it probably needs a lift in energy". So up until halfway through the track I expected a number of moments to mark this increase, but then I gave up trying to predict its appearance. Then the double time came out of nowhere and gave me a very pleasant surprise! Combined with the mention of a new world this made for a happy and valiant song that I'll for sure be listening to again

I’ll say this million and million of times: I am in love with Damon’s voice 🥺 any song where he sings brings me joy. This track is very good, especially in parts where it becomes more energetic hehe

This is my favorite on the new album. Tarantula and Silent Running are close seconds... But something about this feels almost surreal. I love the vibe, it's amazing. I could hear it on repeat for hours and not get bored.

Heard this song for the first time back in October at the Toronto concert (my first ever concert) with my brother. This song means so much to me, as they somehow managed to capture what it feels like to think about all the love and support my closest friends and family have given me while helping me through depression. The beginning of the song feels like when I'm in a depressive pit, but the end feels like when I look back on all the great memories I have with those people, and the gratitude I have for them. This song instantly became special to me, and I will always think about the love I hold for my supporters, especially my brother, as he's always been my best and closest friend, and I'm so happy that we share the memory of going to see Gorillaz for the first time

This song makes me think of speeding down an empty highway in a car with the roof down with my best friends.

Been listening since 2001. The sounds have kept up with me or maybe I with them, I have been growing up with these sounds and shall continue to do so until the day I go down. For reference, technically Noodle and I are the same age.
