this song basically defines the Gorillaz music over the years, soft and mellow, then alternative hip hop and cryptic lyrics, thats why the Gorillaz are hands down one of the best bands out there

The Fall is extremely underrated

I thought the song was pretty sleepy but then when the beat kicked in, I got surprised suddenly. Also, I can sorta hear the little trumpet noise from Donca Matic.

I love the immediate transition from a couple of guitars playing a tune to a sick beat. Really shows how Gorillaz can nail anything.

I think this is about 2D remembering the day that Murdoc crashed into his face with his car telling himself that Murdoc will "Drive away" and the beat drop is when 2D got hit which is why it's so chaotic

Gorillaz *The Fall* was recorded while on the road, and as far as the virtual band goes, it was a secret peice 2-D created while in progress of Plastic Beach, Murdoc wrote all of Plastic beach, but 2-D created this album.

2D's voice is so deep and sad now. This album makes me cry because he's grown up so much since the first phase. It really worries me that everything is still changing, and now it's 2016. I'm worried about the new album, but I know I'll love it no matter what. This was my least favorite album, but they did a great job considering they used a freaking iPad to create the whole thing!

I didn't even know this whole album existed and I'm a huge gorillaz fan, all the songs are absolute fire

I don't know why, but whenever I hear this song I see waterfalls of sand in the full moonlight. It feels... dry, and lonely. Also that beginning segment really does deserve its own song. That alone feels different. It feels wet, like tears on a guitar. Idk HillBilly Man really sells me on the fact that 2D really is by himself with no certain direction on what he's doing or should do.
