My brother in christ I watched this with no knowledge of the Gorillaz lore and forgot all about the band until recently. Now I've learned all the lore and can finally appreciate this masterpiece. Arguably one of their best music videos.

Something deep inside kinda makes me happy that it was scrapped and it's just the storyboard. Somehow it fits for the mood(?) of the song.

I remember when this video first came out I was mad that it was only a storyboard since they wouldn't fund the animated version. Now the storyboard lives in my head as the definitive version of the video and I wouldn't have it any other way, just Jamie's visual storytelling and Damon's music.

If you actually ignore the Nagito edit and listen to the song, it's so worth it. Like hell, when I first heard my friends hear it, I played it for years. In total, I've being listening to it for 6 years.

I can't believe it has now been 14 years since the Gorillaz's released one of their greatest albums Plastic Beach. Time goes by fast I was nine when this album came out.

I feel kind of upset that this was one of their last big parts of the story, since after all of this they gave up on the plan and decided to make everything go back to normal days 7 years later in Humanz, I just feel like there could have been so much more. phase 2-3 where my favorite (Demon days-Plastic beach).
