It's almost like this a cover. I know Damon is 2D but he sounds a little more aggressive singing here where 2D is relaxed. After loving the cartoons for so long it's as though it's not Damon's voice but 2D himself. Weird, I know.

I can't believe I haven't seen this performance yet. I used to be a huge fan of them and I thought the sort of anonymous feel of the band made them that much better. Either way there still great.

Man Damian Albarn is a genious... How can he become world famous with BLUR and then completly change his style and do it all again with Gorrilaz, the guys got some pure skill... even if he dont sound too great live on this video...He still kicks some serious Assss!

While I agree that this sounds more aggressive than 2d normally would, is anyone else able to see an animated video of this inside their head - with 2d, Noodle, Murdoc, and Russel - even though there isn't one? Or is that just me? I guess I can understand the differences. It isn't a studio, and stoned or not, he's hyped. I don't blame him. Gorillaz, and 2D in particular are his musical avatars. How awesome to be able to come out from behind the avatar(s) and perform yourself as yourself.

@ashklaxon You don't have to jump around like a fool all the time to show you like the music. Interest and concentration is also respectful, you know. I know experimental music and art rock where you just can't dance to. Instead the little crowd shows their interest by just sitting and feeling and listening to the art.
