The morse code at the beginning is "PLASTICBEACH", at approximately 880Hz and 18 wpm. It was probably run through a filter with chorus/reverb as well. It might also just be a synthesizer, but I doubt it, since it's so precisely timed.

This electronic/synth pop song feels so Garage rock. It’s got that lumbering bass line but it’s a synth bass instead of a bass guitar. Then they add on layers on layers of synths like a psych rock song. This track reminds me of Elephant if it was more experimental and better. I think this track has aged like fine wine
