I remember hearing this song all the time as a little kid and now every time I listen to it, I’m reminded of long car rides in the city, getting lost in the music as you look out the window, hanging out with friends with no cares in the world, mindlessly singing songs without knowing much of the lyrics, you know, all that jazz. Just having fun! This song along with others like November Has Come, Slow Country, Left Hand Suzuki Method and To Binge are honestly some of the most underrated, easy to listen to Gorillaz songs out there. What a great way to kick off this album, tbh.

Ah, Re-Hash. I remember the first time I listened to the the S/T and this song opened up. Driving on the highway with m folks on a bright sunny day...you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. One of my favourite tracks off this album, definitely a great way to kick off.

Whenever I listen to this album, and I hear those first few seconds of this song, all I can think is, "Damn, what a start." That first kick, that drum pattern, that bassline. It's the first thing you hear in all of Gorillaz' discography, and somehow, I feel like it sums up everything.

To me, Think Tank is pretty much the 1.5th Gorillaz album, because Graham Coxon was gone and Damon just released the first Gorillaz album...it just seemed like Damon had most of the creative input and was still inspired by what he had done for the Gorillaz.

I made my Dad buy a bootleg version of this album when we walked through market in Bangkok in 2002 because I really loved the album cover. My dad thought it would be trash at first but when we got back to the hotel and popped the CD in the player we had brought he was completely blown away by the band. Well at least until Plastic Beach came out.

I have never once listened to this band, not even the enormous hits, Feel Good Inc and Clint Eastwood. But they are always talked about, and I haven't heard one bad thing about them. Listening to them for the very first time today, and I am so, so glad I finally decided to start. With this album alone, I can already tell this is an excellent band with deep lore, genius production and instrumentation, and a masterclass in their genre. I really am excited for what they have next. And yes, I am going through every studio album. Glad to be a part of this community now! =)

The eponymous one was a great start, Demon Days and Plastic Beach were extraordinary, The Fall was alright, Humanz was not a very fun listen, The Now Now was really good, Song Machine was weird but neat, and Cracker Island was pretty good! I wouldn't say they've lost their touch at all, but it's definitely been a rollercoaster for me. Overall, glad I checked them out!

when I was 10 years old I jumped off a ski lift and fractured my left arm, it took my parents several days to take me to the hospital to get it looked at but I remember the fresh chemical smell of my fluorescent orange cast material hardening and "re-hash" bumping in the back of my mom and dad's 2001 Chrysler Neon. still in love with this tune

First album I ever bought with my pocket change. First 'Parental Advisory' album and I certainly wasn't old enough to buy cigarettes or beer. Very nostalgic to where I may start crying. Love Gorillaz's debut. Shame the band hasn't managed to stay as strong IMO as they did in that 2001 - 10 period.

I was 11 years old when this came out, my mom gave it to me as a gift and it changed my life. I probably listened to this album more times in my life than any other. Long live Dan The Automator.
