Music video: The scene opens with 2D sitting in a field just bobbing along to the music. He looks at a picture of St. Vincent, disappointed that she is not there with him ("You are not here with me.") The background begins to slightly vibrate and change colors ("to a distant star") and 2D smiles as St. Vincent appears next to him. They sing the chorus and Vincent begins to float in the air; smiling, St. Vincent beckons 2D to follow here ("I want to go home") and flies up into the air. Following her ("Watching rockets take off"), 2D marvels at how he is in outer space. Noticing he can no longer see St. Vincent (1:05), 2D begins to panic and propels himself through space to try and find her; he travels past several planets ("There's only silence") and also passes by the Voyager 1 probe ("No form of contact"). 2D eventually finds St. Vincent in front of the 'Pillars of Creation' and they stare at it (the sounds captured by the Hubble telescope coming from the 'Pillars' is heard during the bridge). During this, St. Vincent is revealed to be an alien and transforms into her actual appearance; she points towards the Pillars, signaling that it is her home and unfortunately must leave 2D behind. Sadly accepting they can no longer be together, the two dance in front of the Pillars ("I won't give up") and end with a hug before 2D waves goodbye to St. Vincent ("There's nothing I wouldn't give for one minute with you.") St. Vincent flies towards the Pillars and looks back at 2D, shedding a tear before disappearing into the solar gas and dust clouds. The scene immediately switches to 2D unconscious and drooling on the floor; it is revealed that Murdoc spiked 2D's peppermint tea with something and the video was a dream sequence that 2D had while high. Pleased with himself, Murdoc tries to sneak away but is caught by Russel and Noodle, who are not amused by what Murdoc did.

So incredibly well known and popular, and STILL underrated as hell for some reason. Damon never misses, and even though i dont vibe with some songs there is still talent and passion that go into every single tune.

This song reminds me of a time when a friend of mine was depressed and sad all the time and she told me that when I was there her sadness went away. Hard to believe but true story, she's gone noe

You know, the meaning of this song for me is that feeling I have sometimes were I just want to not give a f*#k about anything, stop trying not to drink, not to inhale every fucking thing, and overall just give up in everything and just be mindlessly happy, it's nice to have this song as an escape from everything that has gone wrong in both of these years.

Don't know why, but this song has a nostalgic impact on me and made me cry. I found my favourite song in the album
