Two words: Lady Gaga. Say what you will about her and/or her music, but god, does she know how to perform! Especially in the BTWB (Born this Way Ball) and JWT (Joanne World Tour). She really ruined concerts (in a good way) by making me really expect the same electrifying experience that she provides. Honestly, intoxicating performances and stage presence.

For all you idiots who keep commenting on why they get different rappers, saying that it sucks, or why they don't use Del's lyrics, here's why. Back in 2001, Del wanted more money to perform the song live, but the group wasn't willing to pay him so much, so he took off along with the rights to use the lyrics.

I really love the more rocky sound you get from the guitars in this video as opposed to the smoother sound of the record, both are great but I love the contrast and simultaneous similarity they share

That's not true. You're well within your rights to perform what you want to live, whether it's someone else's lyrics or not. Besides, Damon and EMI Music Publishing own the rights to the song. The truth is Albarn just lets them do their own rap live, that's the top and bottom of it. He's an artist, i don't think he would be disrespectful enough to have an artist come and perform live as a guest and not do their own thing too.

Is because when Damon was in this tour they pretend that they stole the songs from "Gorillaz" and change some lyrics , even in some performances they change several lyrics on purpose

It's also an unwritten rule in the rap scene that you don't rap the lyrics from other rappers. That's why the guest rappers rap something different from the original. By original I mean the version that was actually released not the demos with other rappers.
