Two words: Lady Gaga. Say what you will about her and/or her music, but god, does she know how to perform! Especially in the BTWB (Born this Way Ball) and JWT (Joanne World Tour). She really ruined concerts (in a good way) by making me really expect the same electrifying experience that she provides. Honestly, intoxicating performances and stage presence.

For all you idiots who keep commenting on why they get different rappers, saying that it sucks, or why they don't use Del's lyrics, here's why. Back in 2001, Del wanted more money to perform the song live, but the group wasn't willing to pay him so much, so he took off along with the rights to use the lyrics.

That's not true. You're well within your rights to perform what you want to live, whether it's someone else's lyrics or not. Besides, Damon and EMI Music Publishing own the rights to the song. The truth is Albarn just lets them do their own rap live, that's the top and bottom of it. He's an artist, i don't think he would be disrespectful enough to have an artist come and perform live as a guest and not do their own thing too.

It's also an unwritten rule in the rap scene that you don't rap the lyrics from other rappers. That's why the guest rappers rap something different from the original. By original I mean the version that was actually released not the demos with other rappers.

Never again will I ever doubt Cletus J. Haggerty, again, as long as I live. I thought He was bullshitting Me, about knowing Del tha FunkyHomosapien; but anyway, We walked in & He offered us some buds, but Cletus came with some of His own. After awhile, Del broke out the "Clint Eastwood" Video; He told us not to tell any of our friend, because it was going to air on MTV. Three weeks later, Gorillaz made their debut, on MTV.He also did "Rock The House", which was also on the same album too. ALOHA.

I read once that the Letterman music crowd was counseled to be calm......not here, and it was awesome about how they geeked out to a 10 year old song (that was so well done).
